A subgenre of science fiction and fantasy that includes social or technological aspects of the 19th century (the steam) usually with some deconstruction of, reimagining of, or rebellion against parts of it (the punk). It's about the simple things in life...

So after a long day of work in the the distric of Doi Saket, we decided to go for lunch. There was a view, there was some beer and some giant cat fish tom yum soup. Usually when it is over 30 degrees (more around 40 something I stay away from warm liquids but boy did we enjoy it). Getting to know people that dedicate their careers to help others, seing the wonders of Thailand and enjoying a cold beer, yep, it was a good day.

The Mechanic

One of the pictures that i took before leaving Romania and probably the best one that i ever took , i know is not perfect for all  but for me it is , i called it The Mechanic.

I set with him for a bit while I was visiting the sites called Piatra Craiului  near my home town Brasov, Mr. Istvan was and hope he still is a known blacksmith for over 40 years, his car a German one called Trabant served him a lot during this years , helping him traveling between jobs and carry his equipment , please enjoy the picture as i do watching it every time i see it .    

Rare Bird

Bizarre event when I visited this abandoned Château on the border of Belgium/France I found a lot of dead (beautiful) birds on the windowsills. I couldn´t figure out why and didn´t think about it to long while I probably would end up in a misconception anyway. One of the rare photos I took was from a dead bird on a plate..how odd.

Going trough my archives I stumbled upon this, "ballerina'' taken ages ago. 

It reminds me of my dance classes filled with youngsters, laughter, discipline and simple pleasures. Dancing from contemporary to jazz hours went by unnoticed.

Last Call For Phone Booths

In 1905 the first outdoor phone booth was installed in Cincinatti, USA and has since then played a significant impact on all cultures around the world. A basic utility. Remember when you had a date and the other one didn't show up on time? You ran into a phone booth to make a call, you probably got his mom on the phone who told you that she would expecting your phonecall and had to pass on an advanced apology and the following message: that he would be a bit later because he missed the bus or ...

In the age of mobile phone technology the phone booth is quickly being relegated as a thing of the past.
The phone booth is being removed fast, so fast that you don't even have a notice that it's happening.
They've inspired countless artists and probably you. Next to making a phonecall, a lot of you had their first kiss in a phone booth, wrote "...was here" with a key, kept yourself warm in winter or smoked you first joint, right. Every time when I see a phone booth I am thinking about the past, unfortunatly I can't remember my last call out of a phone booth. Do you? Did we ever think that phone booths would make there last call?
How will I ever explain my son where Clark Kent changed into Superman?

Nervi Promenade

Nervi is a fisherman village next to the town of Genoa.  Here is where I grew up and this little passage leads from the centre of the village right to the sea.
As a child I spend most of my time on this promenade.
