Flying a Kite at the Ghats

At the Ghats in Varanasi people gather to cremate bodies or to bath in the holy river; sometimes you find a carcass floating very close to someone bathing. Looking at the children flying kites was comforting when surrounded by something so intense and far away from our culture.

Living the dream

This man spent about 10 years working to build his dream, building a sugar shack. He collects the sweet liquid of 750 trees on a daily basis, to produce fresh sirup!
